Not in Perry: Hawk Chasing Dove

This is one of the fables devised by the Renaissance poet and scholar, Abstemius. It is Fable 3 in his Hecatomythium.

I've decided to use del.icio.us tags, with "aesopus" as the username, to make it easier to keep track of the different types of fables. When you click on the links below, you will be taken to the latest listings at del.icio.us of the relevant materials.

Hawk and Dove: all items

Hawk and Dove: Latin texts

Hawk and Dove: English translations

Hawk and Dove: illustrations

You will also find additional Latin versions not yet cited in del.icio.us - check the various Latin texts at this wiki which you will find listed on the HOME page.

Here is the latest RSS FEED from del.icio.us for this fable:

Indexed so far: Abstemius, English illustrated, Osius, Barlow.
